Jets Recall Elias Salomonsson

The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team recalled defenceman Elias Salomonsson from the Manitoba Moose.
Salomonsson, 21, has eight points (1G, 7A) in 25 games with the Moose so far this season. The Skellefteå, Sweden export has 35 points (6G, 29A) in 78 career AHL contests. The defender has also appeared in four games with the Winnipeg Jets, making his NHL debut on Nov. 26 against the Washington Capitals. Salomonsson represented the Moose at the 2025 AHL All-Star Classic, becoming just the second Moose rookie defenceman to appear at the annual showcase. He was named Manitoba's Best Defenceman and Rookie of the Year at the close of the 2024-25 campaign.
Salomonsson was a second round pick (55th overall) of the Jets in the 2022 NHL Draft.
