Salomonsson Recalled by Jets

The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team recalled defenceman Elias Salomonsson from the Manitoba Moose.
Salomonsson, 21, has six assists in 17 games with the Moose so far this season. The SkellefteƄ, Sweden export has 33 points (5G, 28A) in 70 career AHL contests. Salomonsson represented the Moose at the 2025 AHL All-Star Classic, becoming just the second Moose rookie defenceman to appear at the annual showcase. He was named Manitoba's Best Defenceman and Rookie of the Year at the close of the 2024-25 campaign.
Salomonsson was a second round pick (55th overall) of the Jets in the 2022 NHL Draft.
