Ville Heinola Loaned to Moose For Conditioning Purposes

The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team activated defenceman Ville Heinola from injured reserve and loaned him to the Moose for conditioning purposes.
Heinola, 23, posted 27 points (10G, 17A) in 41 games with the Moose during the 2023-24 campaign. The Honkajoki, Finland product ranks eighth all-time among Manitoba defencemen with 102 points (23G, 79A) in 152 career AHL games. Heinola is also tied for fourth on the team's all-time list with a career plus-36 rating and ranks seventh among defenders in both goals and assists. The 2019 first round pick became the second defenceman and 11th player in franchise history to record a five point (1G, 4A) game, April 19 at Texas.
The Moose are back on home ice for a pair of games this week against the Chicago Wolves. Thursday, Nov. 21 is the club's first Project 11 School Day Game of the season, set for a 10:30 a.m. puck drop. Saturday, Nov. 23 is the 25th Season Game, slated for a 2 p.m. start.
