Jets Loan Phillips, Zhilkin to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today the team reassigned defenceman Isaak Phillips and forward Danny Zhilkin to the Manitoba Moose.

Phillips, 24, has 13 points (3G, 10A) and a plus-three rating in 33 games with the Moose this season and appeared in a pair of games with the Jets. The Barrie, Ont. product recorded the 100th point (29G, 71A) of his AHL career on Jan. 8 in Milwaukee. Phillips has appeared in 271 AHL contests split between the Moose and Rockford IceHogs. The defender has appeared in 58 NHL contests in his career, tallying 12 points (2G, 10A) with the Jets and Chicago Blackhawks. Phillips was Chicago's fifth round selection (141st overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Zhilkin, 22, has 14 points (7G, 7A) in 30 games with the Moose this season, including five points (2G, 3A) over his past six games. The centreman made his NHL debut with the Jets on Jan. 8 against the Edmonton Oilers and appeared in four games with Winnipeg. The Moscow, Russia product has already set career highs in goals and points in the AHL, while matching his previous career mark in assists. Zhilkin has 31 points (12G, 19A) in 127 career AHL games with the Moose. Zhilkin was the Jets' third round pick (77th overall) at the 2022 NHL Draft.
