Toninato Recalled by Jets

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today the team recalled forward Dominic Toninato from the Moose.

Toninato, 30, leads the Moose with six goals in 25 games this season and his 11 points are tied for fourth on the team. The Duluth, Minn. product was named the 12th captain in franchise history on Nov. 27. Toninato has appeared in 184 NHL contests to date, and recorded 35 points (13G, 22A). He registered five points (1G, 4A) in 15 games with the Jets last season. The 2012 Toronto Maple Leafs fifth round pick has recorded 119 points (61G, 58A) through 220 career AHL appearances.
