The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team placed forward Daniel Torgersson on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract.

Torgersson, 22, appeared in 137 career games with the Moose while recording 32 points (14G, 18A). The Hono, Sweden product also posted two goals in seven Calder Cup Playoff games. Torgersson’s most productive season came in 2022-23 when he tallied 20 points (11G, 9A) in 69 games.

The Moose face the Texas Stars on Dec. 29 (2 p.m.) and Dec. 31 (4 p.m.) to close out 2024. Tickets are available at moosehockey.com/tickets.
