Jets Assign Chibrikov and Coghlan to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today the team assigned forward Nikita Chibrikov and defenceman Dylan Coghlan to the Moose.

Chibrikov, 21, recorded three points (2G, 1A) in his four-game stint with the Winnipeg Jets. The winger became the first player in Jets/Atlanta Thrashers franchise history to record goals in each of his first three NHL games, going back to his debut during the 2023-24 season. Chibrikov leads the Moose with 13 points (5G, 8A) in 19 games this season. The Moscow, Russia product tallied 47 points (17G, 30A) in 70 games with the Moose during the 2023-24 campaign. Chibrikov was a second round pick (50th overall) of the Jets in the 2021 NHL Draft.

Coghlan, 26, has appeared in one game with the Winnipeg Jets so far this season. The defender joins the Moose with 192 AHL games to his credit, recording 108 points (44G, 64A) in those contests. Coghlan has also played 107 NHL games for the Jets, Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights. The Duncan, B.C. native enjoyed his most productive AHL season in 2023-24, recording 41 points (16G, 25A) and tying for the AHL goal-scoring lead among defencemen.
