Milic Stars in Tucson
Thomas Milic was unbeatable on Tuesday night, slamming the door on the Tucson Roadrunners with a 26-save shutout. The Coquitlam, B.C. native made a handful of terrific saves, including a 10-beller midway through the first period that robbed the Roadrunners of a sure goal. Milic owns a .909 save percentage and a 2.37 goals against average through his first three starts of the campaign, with a record of 1-1-1. Tuesday’s shutout was the second of his career, with his other coming on March 13/24 on the road against the Milwaukee Admirals. Milic was a Winnipeg Jets fifth-round (151st overall) draft choice in 2023.

First Win in Tucson
The Manitoba Moose had never won in Tucson until their victory last night, when they bested the Roadrunners 2-0 at Tucson Arena. Manitoba and Tucson had only met four times previously, all of which came in 2016-17. The Roadrunners won both of their games on home ice that season, and the Moose responded with two home victories of their own late in the season. Before their meeting on Tuesday, their last clash came back on April 9/17, at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg. Manitoba claimed a 4-3 victory in that game, and with their victory last night, they have won two consecutive games over the Roadrunners, with 3,124 days in between.
Anderson-Dolan Reaches 100
Jaret Anderson-Dolan iced the victory for the Moose with an empty net goal last night, but it held some additional significance for the 26-year-old. His first goal of the season marked his 100th career AHL point (42G, 58A). The milestone took Anderson-Dolan 173 games to reach, coming in parts of six seasons, both with the Moose and the Ontario Reign. He has also played 134 NHL games, registering 29 points (15G, 14A) in that span. The Calgary, Alta. native was a second-round pick (41st overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in 2017.
