New Addition

The Winnipeg Jets announced Friday the team assigned forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan to the Manitoba Moose. Anderson-Dolan posted four points (1G, 3A) in 31 games split between the Los Angeles Kings and Nashville Predators during the 2023-24 campaign. He also recorded two points in three games with the AHL’s Ontario Reign. Anderson-Dolan has 28 points (15G, 13A) in 127 career NHL contests, playing all but one game with Los Angeles. The Calgary, Alta. product also has 79 points (34G, 45A) in 115 AHL outings, all with Ontario. Anderson-Dolan’s most productive AHL campaign came in 2021-22 when he racked up 47 points (24G, 23A) in 54 games for the Reign. The centreman was a second round pick (41st overall) of the Kings in the 2017 NHL Draft.

That’s Right, We’re on the Road Again

The Moose open a five game road trip in Texas this weekend, looking to get back in the win column after two losses on home ice. The club started off the season with a 2-2-0-0 record on the road, picking up two wins in Iowa to start off the campaign. Manitoba found success in enemy territory with a 20-15-0-1 road record during the 2023-24 season. That was good for third in the Central Division. The Moose were also adept at racking up points in Texas during the regular season. Manitoba won all four visits to H-E-B Center, scoring 20 goals in the four games. The antlered ones are 9-2-1-0 their past 12 regular season games in Texas.

Reaching for the Century

Kevin Conley enters the series against Texas with 99 AHL contests under his belt. The Wasau, Wis. native previously recorded 10 goals and 21 points through two seasons with the Iowa Wild, prior to joining the Moose roster this season. Conley made his AHL debut Nov. 3/22 with Iowa against the Grand Rapids Griffins. Conley will become the 12th player on Manitoba’s current roster to play at least 100 AHL games. Tyrel Bauer (106 games) was the previous Moose to hit the mark.

Putting Up Walls

Domenic DiVincentiis holds a 0.941% save percentage through his first four AHL contests. That mark ties him for first amongst all rookie goaltenders, and seventh among AHL goaltenders. The Bolton, Ont. native leads all rookie goaltenders in total saves (112), and is second among rookie tenders with a 1.78 goals-against average. Since the team’s return to Manitoba in 2015, the highest save percentage recorded by a rookie goaltender through his first four games was a 0.938, posted by Mikhail Berdin in the 2018-19 season.

Who's Trending?
