Road Dawgs
The Moose have fared well when playing at UW-M Panther Arena the past handful of seasons. In 2024-25, they owned a 3-1-0-0 record visiting the Milwaukee Admirals, winning their first three contests in tight games. Nikita Chibrikov scored four points (4A) in a pair of games in Milwaukee, while three others tallied three. Of those players, two are back with the Moose this season, with Dylan Anhorn and Elias Salomonsson each have matching stat lines (2G, 1A). Manitoba owns a 10-6-2-0 record in Milwaukee over the past five seasons, and has gone 18-15-2-1 against their Central Division rivals in total in that same span. Domenic DiVincentiis played to a .905 save percentage and 2.63 goals against average in five games against the Admirals (home and away) in 2024-25.
Di Giuseppe Take Over
Phil Di Giuseppe has been productive for the Moose this season, but especially so the past two games. He has back-to-back multi-point games, picking up a pair of helpers against the Texas Stars on Nov. 8, and doing it once again in a 3-2 win over the Rockford IceHogs on
Nov. 12. His recent surge pushed him to nine points (3G, 6A), the club lead in points 13 games into the campaign, unseating David Gustafsson. Di Giuseppe has registered at least two shots on goal in every game this season, with a high of 10 in Manitoba’s win over the Tucson Roadrunners on Oct. 28. He has already matched his point total from 2024-25, when he scored five goals and added four helpers in 22 games with the Calder Cup Champion Abbotsford Canucks.
Philly’s Shorty
Isaak Phillips stung his former team in Rockford on Wednesday with a shorthanded goal late in the second period. The goal was the first of the season for the 2020 fifth-round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks, and the second shorthanded goal of his AHL career. The tally was the second-latest in a period the Moose have scored this season, beat only by Brayden Yager’s goal with nine seconds to play in the third period on Oct. 18 at Grand Rapids. Phillips is tied for third on the Moose with a plus-three rating.
Points in the Bank
Manitoba has been cashing in valuable points over the past three weeks, playing to a 4-2-2-0 record since Oct. 25. The Moose have climbed to fifth in the Central Division with 15 points, just two behind the Chicago Wolves, and three off the Rockford IceHogs for third. Intermixed into the span was a four-game point streak, which included a pair of wins.
Who's Trending?
The Moose have picked up points in every game defenceman Dylan Anhorn suits up. In his four games, the team is 2-0-2-0, securing wins over the Tucson Roadrunners on Oct. 28, and the Rockford IceHogs on Nov. 12. Anhorn owns a plus-three rating, good for a share of third-best on the club. The Calgary, Alta. native has 17 points (3G, 14A) in 53 career games.
