The Providence College alum has recorded four multi-goal outings throughout his AHL career, and has a total of 61 points (31G, 30A) in 115 games with the Moose. He recorded 41 points (18G, 23A) with the club as a rookie during the 2023-24 season. He was fourth on the Manitoba goals leaderboard and 13th among all AHL rookies.

The Moose recorded 43 shots on goal in Thursday night’s contest against Grand Rapids, marking a new season-high in shots. Of the club’s 43 shots, eight came off the stick of defenceman Dylan Coghlan. This sets a new high in shots by a Moose skater this season, surpassing a pair of seven-shot performances by Parker Ford and Nikita Chibrikov. The outing falls just short of Coghlan’s career-high of 10 shots in a game, recorded with the Chicago Wolves on April 7/19 against the Colorado Eagles. Mason Shaw also registered seven shots in Thursday’s outing, setting a new season-high.

Captain on Deck!

The Moose saw some changes made to their roster over the past two days, with the Winnipeg Jets reassigning captain Dominic Toninato to the club. Toninato has recorded 11 points (6G, 5A) in 25 appearances with the Moose this season. He’s tied for fifth on the Moose roster in goals. Toninato also skated in four games with the Jets. The Duluth, Minn. product was named Manitoba’s captain, the 12th in franchise history, on Nov. 27/24.

Big Ben

Ben King recorded his sixth goal of the season in Thursday night’s loss to Grand Rapids. The Vernon, BC product now has 11 points (6G, 5A) in 28 appearances with the Moose this season, with nine of his points (6G, 3A) recorded against central division opponents. He co-leads the club in goals scored against divisional opponents, alongside Parker Ford. He’s recorded three points (2G, 1A) in four appearances against the Griffins this season, including his second multi-goal game of the season on Jan. 10. His first came against another central division rival, the Texas Stars, on Nov. 9/24.
