The Lahti, Finland native brought his season total to nine points (4G, 5A), registering an assist moments after breaking the deadlock on Saturday. It was his first multi-point game of the season. Lambert began the season in the NHL with the Winnipeg Jets, skating in four contests and scoring his first NHL goal on Nov. 1 vs. Pittsburgh.

Great Wall of Manitoba

Manitoba received otherworldly goaltending from the duo of Thomas Milic and Domenic DiVincentiis over the weekend in Laval, conceding just a single goal across a pair of games against one of the AHL’s top opponents. On Jan. 16, Milic made 34 saves in just under 65 minutes of play between regulation and overtime, tacking on two big stops in the shootout as the Moose took a 2-1 victory in the skills competition. DiVincentiis followed it up with a gem of his own, pitching a 28-save shutout, his second of the season. Both goaltenders own a save percentage greater than .900 through half of the season. Milic will be Manitoba’s representative at the AHL All-Star Classic in February.
