Fire Away, Fire Away

Fagemo tied a career high Sunday afternoon in Rosemont by firing nine shots on goal. His previous nine-shot game came on
April 6/24 at San Jose. The Gothenburg, Sweden native recorded his 10th goal of the campaign in that contest, becoming the second Moose skater to reach double-digit goals this season. Through 33 games in antlers, Fagemo has 17 points (10G, 7A), and skated in his 300th AHL game on Jan. 10 at Rockford.

The Barrage Continues

The Moose come into tonight’s action ranked second in the AHL when it comes to shots per game average. Manitoba has 1043 shots on goal in 33 outings for an average of 31.61 shots per game. The Moose are one of just three teams in the league to average over 31 shots per game. Manitoba’s highest volume period is the second frame, where the antlered ones average 11.12 shots in the period. The antlered ones have outshot, or tied, their opponents in 11 consecutive games and have had more shots than their foes in 22 of 33 games this season. The Moose are 12-7-3-0 when outshooting opponents this season. Forward Phil Di Giuseppe is fifth in the AHL with 100 shots on goal.

Doing Damage

Walker Duehr scored a third-period game-tying goal for the second straight game to help the Moose earn a point on Sunday. Duehr leads the Moose with five goals and nine points tallied in third periods this season. The Sioux Falls, S.D. native paces Manitoba with 11 goals and is tied for the team lead with 21 points in 33 games. Duehr’s career high, set during the 2024-25 campaign with Calgary and San Jose, is 28 points (16G, 12A). The Minnesota State-Mankato alumnus heads into tonight’s action with 99 points (53G, 46A) in his AHL career.

Back and Forth

The Moose were involved in a pair of transactions yesterday afternoon. Forward Jacob Julien was reassigned from the organization’s ECHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals, to Manitoba. Meanwhile, defenceman Isaak Phillips was recalled from the Moose by the Winnipeg Jets. Julien appeared in two games with the Admirals, making his professional debut on Jan. 9 against the Adirondack Thunder. Phillips has 13 points (3G, 10A) and a plus-three rating in 33 games with the Moose this season. The Barrie, Ont. Product holds 100 points (29G, 71A) in 271 AHL games with Manitoba and Rockford and has 12 points (2G, 10A) in 56 NHL outings with the Chicago Blackhawks.
