Phillips Hits 100

Isaak Phillips eclipsed another milestone on Thursday night in Milwaukee by tallying his 100th AHL point, 19 games after he played his 250th AHL game on Nov. 8 at Texas. The Barrie, Ont. native has an assist in each of Manitoba’s two games in the new year, and now has three points over his past four games, dating back to Dec. 21 against the Rockford IceHogs. Phillips has scored 21 points (6G, 15A) in antlers, with the other 79 points (23G, 56A) coming with the IceHogs. He was acquired by the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Dmitry Kuzmin on
Jan. 15/24. Phillips was a Chicago Blackhawks fifth-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Scoring 100

Brad Lambert scored in the final two minutes of Manitoba’s tilt with the Milwaukee Admirals on Thursday night. The goal marked Lambert’s 100th career AHL point (33G, 67A) while skating in his 157th career AHL contest. The Lahti, Finland product tallied his first career point in his second AHL contest back on Oct. 16/22. Lambert is the 41st player in franchise history to reach the century mark. The 2022 first round pick ties Michael Spacek for 41st in Moose scoring with the goal (33G, 67A). Lambert has seven points (3G, 4A) in 18 games this season.

Make Room in the 300 Club

The next time Samuel Fagemo and Mason Shaw hit the ice, each of them will skate in their 300th AHL game. Fagemo joined the Winnipeg Jets organization as a free agent in the summer, and has played 31 games in antlers, amassing 16 points (9G, 7A) in that span. In his 299 career games, he has scored 218 points (141G, 77A), including a 43-goal season in 2022-23. Fagemo began his AHL career Feb. 6/21 with the Ontario Reign. Shaw, Manitoba’s captain, has played 102 games with the club, compiling 57 points (25G, 32A) in that time. He played a further 197 games with the Iowa Wild. In his 299 AHL games, Shaw owns 178 points (68G, 110A). He made his AHL debut on April 10/18.

Zhilkin was recalled by the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday and made his NHL debut with the Jets on Thursday. The Moscow, Russia product played 6:55 over 10 shifts and finished with a plus-one rating in a 4-3 loss to Edmonton. Zhilkin played 127 AHL games prior to his first NHL outing. Winnipeg’s 2022 third round selection in the NHL Draft has 31 points (12G, 19A) in his AHL career, including a career-high seven goals and 14 points in 30 games this season.
