The Manitoba Moose (16-28-1-1) are back at Place Bell tonight (6 p.m. CT) for a rematch with the Laval Rocket (31-14-2-1). The Moose grabbed a win in the teams' first clash of the season, outlasting the Rocket for a 5-4 victory. Jaret Anderson-Dolan had two goals while C.J. Brad Lambert picked up two primary assists in Wednesday’s win over Laval. The outing served as his sixth multi-point game of the season, and 21st of his career. The Finnish forward has recorded 22 points (3G, 19A) on the campaign so far, and leads the Moose in both points and assists. He also leads the team with 15 primary helpers. Lambert previously led all Moose skaters with 55 points (21G, 34A) as a rookie during the 2023-24 season.
Double or Nothing
Jaret Anderson-Dolan recorded his first multi-goal game as a member of the Moose on Wednesday night. The outing served as the sixth multi-goal effort of his AHL career, having previously recorded a career high of four such games during the 2021-22 season, as a member of the Ontario Reign. Wednesday also marked Anderson-Dolan’s first time recording goals in back-to-back games this season, as well as his first three-game point streak of the campaign. The Calgary, Alta. export has registered 12 points (5G, 7A) with the Moose this season, including eight points (2G, 6A) his past 12 games.
Perfectly Balanced
C.J. Suess recorded two points (1G, 1A) in Wednesday’s win over Laval. The outing served as his second multi-point game of the campaign, picking up the first on Jan. 23 against the Grand Rapids Griffins. Suess has registered 16 points (8G, 8A) so far this season, and ranks eighth on the club in points. Additionally, his eight tallies make him fifth on the Moose in goals. The Forest Lake, Minn. export previously posted 20 points (10G, 10A) in 68 games with the Moose in 2023-24.
We’re Going Streaking!
Dylan Coghlan recorded an assist in Wednesday’s win over Laval and is currently riding a six-game point streak. The Duncan, B.C. product now holds the longest point streak by a Moose skater this season, passing a five-game run recorded Dylan Anhorn. He also currently holds the sixth-longest active point streak in the AHL. Coghlan’s streak is two games shy of the longest point streak of his career; an eight-game run recorded from Jan. 27/24 to Feb. 24/24, while skating with the Springfield Thunderbirds.
