Fast Facts: Moose vs. Milwaukee – Feb. 17

The Manitoba Moose (15-27-1-0) close out a six-game homestand this afternoon (2 p.m.) against the Milwaukee Admirals (25-16-3-4). The Moose scored a dramatic 2-1 win against Milwaukee yesterday as Dylan Coghlan scored with 9.7 seconds remaining in regulation to give Manitoba the lead. It's the second time the Moose struck late for a winner against the Admirals. Dylan Anhorn previously scored an OT winner with less than a second remaining for a 4-3 Moose win on Jan. 8. Manitoba has won four consecutive games against Milwaukee in the season series.

Veteran Poise
Domenic DiVincentiis made 27 saves to earn the win over Milwaukee on Sunday. DiVincentiis made 18 saves in the game’s second period, marking the most saves made in a single frame by a Moose goaltender this season. The Bolton, Ont. product has allowed just eight goals in five games on home ice, posting a 1.62 goals-against average and a .947 save percentage at Canada Life Centre. The rookie goaltender has allowed two or less goals in eight of his nine total starts. Overall, DiVincentiis’ .928 save percentage is tops among AHL rookies with at least 10 appearances and his 2.20 goals-against average ranks second among the group.
That’s Some Hero Stuff
Dylan Coghlan scored the game-winning goal with 9.7 seconds left on the clock in Sunday’s win over Milwaukee. Coghlan recorded two points (1G, 1A) in the outing, factoring in on both Moose goals. The Duncan, B.C. product has posted eight points (5G, 3A) while riding a four-game point streak. Coghlan has recorded 11 points (7G, 4A) in 14 games with the Moose this season. He leads all Manitoba defenders in goals and is tied for fifth among all Moose skaters in goals. Coghlan is tied for 11th in goals among all AHL defenceman, and is seventh among active AHL defenders in points per game.
Lend A Hand
Dominic Toninato recorded a primary assist in Sunday’s win over Milwaukee, and has points in back-to-back games. This marks the third time this season he’s registered a point in back-to-back games. The Moose captain has posted 17 points (8G, 9A) on the campaign, and ranks fifth on the Moose leaderboard in points. Toninato is also fourth on the club in goals.
Battling the Best
The Moose are in a run of taking on top teams with five of six games against teams at the top of their division. That hasn’t proved to be a stumbling point in 2025 as the Moose hold a record of 5-2-1-0 in eight games against teams either leading the division, or tied for the division-lead. Manitoba also halted Texas’ four-game point streak (2-0-2-0) along with Milwaukee’s five-game run (4-0-0-1). Next week sees the Moose face off against the Laval Rocket who currently sit atop the league standings. The Moose opened 2025 by taking three of four points from the Calgary Wranglers who occupied the league’s top spot at the time.

Brad Lambert picked up a primary assist on late game-winner yesterday. The Finnish forward has recorded 20 points (3G, 17A) on the season so far, and leads the Moose in assists. He also leads all Manitoba skaters with 13 primary helpers. Lambert previously led the club with 55 points (21G, 34A) as a rookie during the 2023-24 season.
