The Moose fell 7-3 to the IceHogs yesterday, their second consecutive defeat. The Moose are 5-5-0-0 over their past 10 games. For Rockford, the win was their third in four games. The IceHogs are 4-5-1-0 in their past 10 outings.

Zhilkin’s New Career High (Again)
Danny Zhilkin continued his strong start to his third professional season on Saturday afternoon, picking up a goal in Manitoba’s contest against the Rockford IceHogs. His sixth marker of the season served as a new career-high 11th point (6G, 5A), and comes only a month after he set a new career-high in goals, which he did with his first career multi-goal effort in Rockford on Nov. 15. The Moscow, Russia native has a goal on the power play, another shorthanded, and two of his markers are game-winners. Drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the third round in 2022, Zhilkin has 28 points (11G, 17A) in 124 AHL contests in his career.
Yager Chipping In
Brayden Yager has been a key cog in the Moose machine over the course of the campaign. The rookie has six points (2G, 4A) over the course of his past nine games, including an assist in his most recent outing on Saturday afternoon. Yager is operating at 0.52 points per game in 2025-26, picking up 14 points (4G, 10A) through his first 27 AHL games. The Saskatoon, Sask. native was acquired by the Jets via trade, and was selected 14th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Anderson-Dolan Clicking Along
Jaret Anderson-Dolan continues to hum along for the Moose, picking up an assist on Saturday afternoon. He has three points (2G, 1A) over the span of his past four games, bringing his season total to 13 points (5G, 8A) in 27 contests. The Calgary, Alta. native has scored a pair of game-winning goals for Manitoba thus far. Nearing his 200th career game in the AHL, Anderson-Dolan has scored 111 points (46G, 65A) through 193 contests.
Multi-Point Gustafsson
David Gustafsson compiled another multi-point game for the Moose on Saturday afternoon, scoring a goal in the second period, and adding an assist to his totals. It brings him to 18 points (5G, 13A) in 25 games, good for the team lead in the department. The Tingsryd, Sweden native recorded his sixth multi-point of the season, two of which have come in his two most recent contests. Gustafsson is currently on a three-game point streak, in which time he has five points (1G, 4A), and has seven points (1G, 6A) over his past five games. Gustafsson was a second-round pick by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2018 NHL Draft.

Four of his goals have come on the power play, and one was a game-winner. The Gothenburg, Sweden native is shooting 15.7 percent. He was a second-round pick in 2019 by Los Angeles.
