Franchise Record(s)

The Moose needed just 69 seconds in Tuesday’s game to set a pair of franchise records. Jaret Anderson-Dolan fired the game’s first goal past Matthew Murray eight seconds into the contest, setting the new mark for the fastest opening goal in the franchise’s 30-season history (IHL/AHL/St. John’s). Michael Grabner previously held the record, scoring 11 seconds into a meeting with the Toronto Marlies on Feb. 17/10. Isaak Phillips chipped in a goal of his own at 1:09, marking the fastest two opening goals for the franchise. The record was previously set by Doug Doull and Corey Spring, who scored twice in 1:22 on Dec. 8/09 against the Kansas City Blades, while the Moose were a member of the IHL.

Another First

Lukas Gustafsson added his name to the lengthy list of Moose to have recorded milestones over the past several games, picking up his first professional point, an assist, on Jaret Anderson-Dolan’s opening goal on Tuesday. Gustafsson notched 22 points (6G, 16A) in 36 games while captaining the Boston College Eagles this season. The Metairie, La. native was named to the 2026 Hockey East Third All-Star Team. Gustafsson totalled 72 points (14G, 58A) in 147 NCAA games with Boston College, capturing the Hockey East Championship in 2024.

Best Year Ever

Isaak Phillips has enjoyed plenty of offensive success in his first full season as a member of the Moose in 2025-26. The Barrie, Ont. native scored his 10th goal of the season in Manitoba’s 4-3 win over Milwaukee last night, tying his career high set in 2021-22 as a member of the Rockford IceHogs. The goal, and an assist he picked up later in the contest, pushed him to 27 points (10G, 17A) on the campaign, setting a new career high, as well. It is two points better than the mark of 25 points (10G, 15A) he set in 2021-22. Phillips is set to skate in his 300th AHL game in his next outing, and has scored 114 points (36G, 78A), with 35 of those points (13G, 22A) coming as a member of the Moose. Tuesday was also his 100th game in antlers.

Tickets Punched

The Moose clinched their spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs with a win over the Admirals on Tuesday evening. Manitoba achieved the milestone with six games remaining in the regular season. The 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs mark the fourth season in the past five, and 19th overall, the Moose franchise participates in the post-season. This includes the organization’s time in the IHL and as the St. John’s IceCaps. The club reached the Calder Cup Final in 2009 (Manitoba) and 2014 (St. John’s).

Dylan Anhorn is the owner of the longest active point streak on the Moose, currently standing at four games. The Calgary, Alta. native has recorded four points (1G, 3A) in that stretch, bringing him to 14 points (3G, 11A) through 40 games this season. The St. Cloud State alum has 31 points (6G, 25A) during his 89 career AHL games with the Moose.
