The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today the team placed forward Henri Nikkanen on unconditional waivers for the purposes of terminating his contract.

Nikkanen, 23, appeared in 140 games with the Manitoba Moose while recording 32 points (13G, 19A). The Mikkeli, Finland product’s most productive season with Manitoba came in 2022-23 when he tallied 16 points (5G, 11A) in 66 games.
