Jets Reasign Kaapo Kähkönen to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today the team reassigned goaltender Kaapo Kähkönen to the Moose.
Kähkönen, 28, has a 6-15-0 record with a 3.26 goals-against average and .888 save percentage in 22 AHL appearances this season split between the Moose and Colorado Eagles this season. He also appeared in one NHL game with the Colorado Avalanche. The Helsinki, Finland product has 95 career AHL contests to his credit while producing a 48-35-11 record supported by a 2.62 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage. He was the 2019 Baz Bastien Memorial Award winner as the AHL's top netminder. Kähkönen has appeared in 140 NHL games while posting a 49-68-15 record with a 3.34 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage. He was a fourth round pick (109th overall) of the Minnesota Wild in the 2014 NHL Draft.
