The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced Friday the team loaned forward Brayden Yager to the Moose.

Yager, 21, appeared in one game with the Jets during his recall. The centre has nine points (5G, 4A) through Manitoba’s first five games of the season, leading the team in goals, and tied for the lead in points. The Saskatoon, Sask. native is in his second season of professional hockey, spending 68 games with the Moose a season ago, while playing three games as a member of the Jets in 2025-26. He scored 30 points (10G, 20A) in his rookie season in antlers. Yager was selected 14th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, before being acquired by the Jets via trade in August 2024.
