Chibrikov and Yager Recalled by Jets

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today the team recalled forwards Nikita Chibrikov and Brayden Yager from the Manitoba Moose on emergency conditions.

Chibrikov, 23, holds 16 points (6G, 10A) in 53 games with the Moose this season. He also previously appeared in eight games with the Jets. The Moscow, Russia product holds four points (3G, 1A) in 13 career NHL outings. Chibrikov has 81 points (30G, 51A) in 153 career AHL games. Chibrikov was the Jets’ second round pick (50th overall) in the 2021 NHL Draft.

Yager, 21, has 30 points (10G, 20A) in 68 games with the Moose this season, his first in the professional ranks. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan product ranks seventh on the Moose in scoring. Yager leads the team with seven power play assists and sits second with 10 power play points. He was a first round pick, 14th overall, of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2023 NHL Draft.
