The Manitoba Moose (28-21-5-1) kick off their penultimate homestand of the regular season against the Milwaukee Admirals (24-25-4-3). The Moose claimed a 4-2 win over the Calgary Wranglers on Sunday, improving their past-10 record to 5-4-1-0. Milwaukee has won two games in a row, most recently downing the Grand Rapids Griffins 5-2 on Saturday.

March Milic
Thomas Milic has been nearly unbeatable over his past four games, with a 3-1-0 record on the strength of 124 saves on 129 shots, posting a 1.26 goals-against average and a .961 save percentage. The Coquitlam, B.C. native made 44 saves, a new career high, in a 4-2 win over the Calgary Wranglers in his previous outing on Sunday, including 21 stops in the third period alone. Milic posted back-to-back shutouts to lead off the four games. The third-year pro seems to elevate his game in March, posting a 6-2-2 record while allowing just 18 goals in the month with the Milwaukee Admirals in 2025. During March of 2024, Milic stamped down a 9-2-1 record with the Moose, supported by a 2.20 GAA and .907 SV%, with an AHL Player of the Week nod mixed in.
Calgary Natives, Home Edge
A pair of Calgary, Alta. natives made a big difference for the Moose at Scotiabank Saddledome on Sunday afternoon. Jaret Anderson-Dolan scored at 11:11 of the second period to give Manitoba a 2-1 lead, and Dylan Anhorn tallied what stood up to be the game winner at 14:23 of the third. Anderson-Dolan’s ninth goal of the campaign was the 50th of his AHL career, and his first goal in his home town while playing in the AHL. Anhorn scored the second game-winner of his career, with the other coming on Jan. 8/25 at Milwaukee. Mason Shaw, a native of Wainwright, Alta. also recorded an assist in the win.
Philsanity
Isaak Phillips has made a routine of putting his name on the scoresheet recently, including the game’s first goal on Sunday in Calgary. Since Dec. 12, Phillips hasn’t gone more than two games without recording a point. The Barrie, Ont. product leads the team in goals and shots, and is tied for the team lead with seven points (5G, 2A) over the past 11 games. Overall, Phillips holds 23 points (8G, 15A) in 50 games this season, the most among Moose blueliners. Phillips has picked up

Brayden Swagger
Brayden Yager’s production continues to rise as the season reaches the home stretch. The first-year pro has seven points (3G, 4A) over his past eight games. Yager was tied for sixth among AHL rookies in scoring over that span. Two of the Saskatoon, Sask. product’s goals came on the power play, giving him three on the season and a share of second on the team. Yager has 24 points (9G, 15A) in 55 games in his rookie campaign. He was a first round pick, 14th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 2023 NHL Draft.

Danny Zhilkin is one of four Moose actively riding a two-game point streak, picking up a pair of assists over his past two outings. The Moscow, Russia native has set a new career high with 21 points (10G, 11A) in 49 outings, also tallying new highs in goals and assists. Zhilkin made his NHL debut on Jan. 8 vs Edmonton. He was a third round pick by the Winnipeg Jets.
