Sweet 300
Kale Clague’s next game will be his 300th in the AHL. The Regina, Sask native has recorded 159 points (38G, 121A) in his career, spending time with the Ontario Reign and Rochester Americans, before signing with the Winnipeg Jets in the summer. The defender made his AHL debut Oct. 5/18 with Ontario, picking up an assist in his first game. Clague has 21 points (8G, 13A) through his first 45 games in antlers, tied with Ville Heinola for the Moose lead among defencemen. He set a new career high in games, goals, assists, and subsequently points with the Americans in 2024-25, recording 39 points (10G, 29A) in 69 contests.
20-Something
Brayden Yager (8G, 12A) and Isaak Phillips (6G, 14A) both reached the 20-point milestone on the season with goals against the Toronto Marlies. Yager is playing his first professional season and turned 21 in early January. He was the 14th overall selection in the 2023 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, before being traded to the Winnipeg Jets. Yager enters today’s action on a three-game point streak, matching the longest run of his season. Phillips, also acquired via trade in 2024-25, was loaned to the Moose on Friday morning after playing in the Jets’ 4-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday evening. It was his third game with the big club on the campaign. The Barrie, Ont. product has three goals and four points over his past six games.
Forza Di Giuseppe
Moose forward Phil Di Giuseppe has been cooking with gas of late, collecting three points (2G, 1A) over his past four contests. The veteran nabbed Manitoba’s first overtime winner of the season, shorthanded, in Grand Rapids on Feb. 25. Di Giuseppe is currently on a two-game point streak, scoring a pair of points (1G, 1A) over the span. Through 50 games this season, the Toronto, Ont. native has scored 23 points (10G, 13A), and leads the Moose with 137 shots on goal. Di Giuseppe is one of five Moose to eclipse the 10-goal mark so far in 2025-26.
Power Play Producer
Samuel Fagemo contributed an assist on Brayden Yager’s power play goal on Friday. Of Fagemo’s 25 points (14G, 11A) this season, nine (5G, 4A) of them have come on the man advantage. The mark is good for the top spot on the Moose. Fagemo is one of four players to play in all 50 of Manitoba’s regular season games in 2025-26, joining Yager, Jaret Anderson-Dolan, and Phil Di Giuseppe. Fagemo is second on the team in shots on goal with 109, and his 25 points are good for fourth on the club.
