The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team has reassigned defenceman Ville Heinola to the Manitoba Moose.

Heinola, 20, is second among Moose defencemen with 14 points (2G, 12A) in 18 AHL games this season. The Honkajoki, Fin. product is tied for ninth among AHL defenders in points and tied for fourth in assists. His 12 helpers also lead all Moose skaters. Heinola has 26 points (6G, 20A) in 40 career AHL games. In 13 NHL games, the defender has five points (1G, 4A).

Ville Heinola was the Jets first round pick, 20th overall, in the 2019 NHL Draft.
