2008-09 - Played 56 games with CSKA Moscow and registered 41 points (17g, 24a)... Played in eight playoff games and recorded four points (1g, 3a) with four penalty minutes.
2007-08 - For the second straight season, Shirokov scored 34 points with CSKA... He appeared in six playoff games and registered three assists.
2006-07 - At the 2006 World Junior Championships in British Columbia, Shirokov helped Russia to a second consecutive silver medal, losing to Canada in the final... He scored five points in six games... He played 52 games with CSKA Moscow and recorded 24 points (16g, 18a) with 36 penalty minutes... He appeared in 12 playoff games where he earned 11 points (4g, 7a).
2005-06 - He spent the season with CSKA Moscow and posted seven goals and six assists in 39 regular season games.
