Oberg, 20, appeared in 43 games this past season with the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs. He scored seven goals and 27 points along with 50 penalty minutes to finish second amongst Bulldog defencemen. He was named to the NCAA West Regional All-Tournament Team. In 67 career games in college with the Bulldogs, the Forestburg, AB native scored eight goals and 30 points along with 60 penalty minutes.
