Jimmy Hits 100: Moose veteran forward Jimmy Roy’s second period goal in last Saturday’s 8-1 win over Cleveland
not only ended a 15-game goal-less drought, it marked Roy’s 100th goal in a Manitoba Moose uniform. Roy added another goal
just over four minutes later to finish the regular season with nine goals and eight assists for 17 points with 144 penalty
minutes in 62 games. In nine seasons with the Moose, Roy holds the all-time records for games played (603), goals (101),
penalty minutes (1434), and is second all-time in points (212).
Hitting the Century Mark: After last Saturday night's 8-1 victory over Cleveland, the Moose finished the
regular season with 100 points for only the second time in team history. The only other Moose team to hit the century mark
came in 1998-99, when the Moose finished second in the North Division with a 47-21-14 record for 108 points.
