The Anaheim Ducks today announced they have traded defenceman Nick Boynton to the Chicago Blackhawks for future considerations.
Boynton, 31, has played in 42 games so far this season with the Anaheim Ducks where he has recorded seven points (1g & 6a) along with 59 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in nine games with the Manitoba Moose where he has collected four assists. The Nobleton, ON native has played in 547 career NHL games with Boston, Phoenix, Florida and Anaheim where he has collected 135 points (33g & 102a) along with 810 penalty minutes.

Tough break losing Baummer and Boynton at the same time......But the Moose are on quite a roll right now........Now let's pray that we don't lose Sneids via tomorrow's trading date-line.
