The Manitoba Moose today announced they have released right-winger Chad Painchaud from his professional tryout contract.
Painchaud, 23, appeared in two games with the Moose since his recall on Jan. 23/10. He started the 2009-10 season in 40 games with the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL. In that span, he scored 46 points (18g & 28a) and collected 45 penalty minutes. The Mississauga, ON native has now played in 40 career AHL games between the Chicago Wolves, Iowa Chops and Moose where he has racked up nine career points (4g & 5a) along with 13 career penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 106th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

That certainly isn't a reason to keep a player, lots of guys score shoot out goals. Golly. Man, what is becoming of this organization and the fans? *shakes head*

Hey John, we can agree to disagree, lets call it that your first reply to this thread was confusing and not worded in a way that would be taken as a whole new conversation. It's ok we have all done. Cheers John!
