Manitoba Moose

The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have assigned six players to the Manitoba Moose.

Assigned directly to the Moose include:

• Taylor Ellington - Defence
• Pierre-Cedric Labrie - Left Wing
• Evan Oberg - Defence
• Eric Walsky - Right Wing

Players released by the Canucks from their PTO's and subsequently assigned to the Moose include:

• Daren Machesney - Goaltender
• Travis Ramsey - Defence

The Moose roster now stands at 29 players remaining who will travel to Abbotsford, BC as the Moose will face the Heat in a pair of exhibition games beginning Friday, September 25th at 9:30 p.m. CT and Sunday, September 27th at 7:00 p.m. CT.

The Moose will then open their 14th regular season on Friday, October 2nd against the Houston Aeros at the MTS Centre. Gametime is 7:30 p.m. Fans can buy tickets to that game and all other individual games at all Ticketmaster locations or by calling 780-3333 or by going online at ticketmaster.ca.
