Hamilton Tiger-Cats 24
Winnipeg Blue Bombers 20

[TIGER-CATS GAME STORY] <> [BOMBERS GAME REPORT]

What a great team the Tiger-Cats promise to be in 2007!

Tonight's win followed a 35-23 win last week. That's 2-0 for the pre-season. Can they go 18-0 in the regular season?

They did a nice job of preventing themselves from rolling up the score against an inferior opponent and kept the Bombers actually believing that they belonged on the same field as the Cats. Then rookie sensation QB Timmy Chang led the Cats downfield to claim victory.

Next up:

Thursday, June 28th: Winnipeg at Edmontoon
Saturday, June 30th: Hamilton at Calgary

Photos:

The Tiger-Cats came out in their road white uniforms. Had they worn black they likely would have won by 40.

Nothing better than happy cheerleaders!

For a few minutes the game was played in an anti-gravity zone as a pre-season experiment. I oppose this move.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats 43
Winnipeg Blue Bombers 22

[CBC.CA GAME STORY] <> [TSN.CA GAME STORY] <> [TIGER-CATS REPORT] <> [CFL GAMEDAY]

Jesse Lumsden hammers Bombers for 211 rushing yards.

Not to be outdone, the Ti-Cat D pounds on Brazzell.

After spotting the rest of the league a head start, the Tiger-Cats showed what they are all about with a convincing thrashing of the Blue Bombers. The Bombers are no doubt counting their lucky stars for the 4th quarter calls which went their way last week.

Next up:

Friday August 10th: Winnipeg at British California
Saturday, August 11th: Hamilton at Edmontoon

The Tabbies should change their name to the Jesse Lumsden's. God that kid is killer!

Defense crumbled badly tonight and Westwood proceded to stink up the place.

Kevin Glenn was pretty much the only Bomber to play well despite the loss. Stegall picks up #140.

Pretty disappointing loss, nothing was going our way tonight, especially when Taaffe made that call to throw the flag and the fumble was overturned and the Bombers lost good field position.

Hamilton had to beat someone soon and unfortunately it was our guys. Congrats to Hamilton but they better enjoy it while they can. They're still 1-5 and they're not going to beat the Bombers again this year. And also, don't forget, they live in Hamilton.

Once the secondary is healthy again (missing vets like Malbrough, Bush, and Bean absolutely sucks) the Bombers will be fine. I can't wait for next week's game. I know it's against BC but the Bombers D will want to make up for that stinker tonight. It was just one of those bad days at the office. It's pretty tough to win both games of a back-to-back like that. Like I said, the Pussy Cats better enjoy it while they can because they're not beating the Bombers again this year and they're not making the playoffs, while the Bombers will make a push for the Cup.

I'm more miffed about all these guys going down with injuries. it was bad enough not seeing Jenkins out on defence. that guy is a machine and it's a shame he gets benched benched because of the import rule.
either way, our defence will look a lot better when Malbrough and Bean come back.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats 21
Edmonton Eskimos 19

[CBC.CA GAME STORY] <> [TSN.CA GAME STORY] <> [TIGER-CATS REPORT] <> [CFL GAMEDAY]

The Tiger-Cats sure showed those Edmontown Igloo-Dwellers just who is the better football team in this game. The stage has no doubt been set for the Tiger-Cats to win the 2008 Grey Cup and likely form a dynasty of epic proportions.

Also, no NFL team has shown the guts to come here and challenge the Tiger-Cats for their NFL/CFL World Title, which the Tiger-Cats have held for 46 years now. I am going on record right now: THE TIGER-CATS WILL HOLD THE TITLE FOR AT LEAST 50 YEARS!

LET THE MARCH BEGIN AGAIN!!!!

With the weather starting to warm and baseball season underway, one must begin to feel the excitement of yet another season in the CFL. And a new CFL season of course renews the HAMILTON TIGER-CATS' MARCH TO THE GREY CUP!!!!

Now in 2007 the Tiger-Cats never won the Grey Cup, technically. I am still waiting for the CFL to explain how they awarded the Grey Cup to the Saskatchewanites. However, more importantly, the Tiger-Cats held on to their title of champions of CFL/NFL football. They won the title on August 8, 1961 with a 38-21 win over the Buffalo Bills. The New Engerlund Patriots could have answered the challenge and faced the 'Cats but chickened out and instead lost to the crappy Giants. HGR!!!

You know what I really enjoy? Watching the Tiger-Cats win!

You know what else I really enjoy? Watching the Argos lose!

So, by definition, this game had it all.

Let this be a lesson: The 15-time Grey Cup Champions and the reigning champions of CFL-NFL football are on a mission. When they come to a stadium near you make sure that you come out to witness Canada's greatest football team.

Printers and Lumsden should have an interesting race for Most Outstanding Player this year!!!!!

Lumsden completly destroyed the Argo's defence, quite surprised by the win, hopefully the Argos play better next week!

MEMO TO BOMBER FANS

Sure the Bomber game was disgusting and the team is now 0-3. And the record IS indicative of their play.

But today you can erase all of those memories by watching Canada's team, the reigning champions of CFL-NFL football, THE HAMILTON TIGER CATS, take on the BANJOLAND INBREDS.

P.S. How many of you know of people who injured themselves jumping off the bandwagon?

Williams was amazing. Cool

The good news for the Bombers is no matter how bad things get, hey can always kick around the CFL's laughing stock- the Hamilton TiCats.

Actually the Bombers are worse than the Ti-Cats. Same record. Well, the last time I checked they were 2-6-0. The only difference is the Bombers have the worst offence and defence in the league. So I give the laughing stock of the CFL Award to the Bombers so far.

why don't you stick to a topic you know? You know nothing about the CFL, so why bother littering the forum with your hatred for the Bombers?

Temper temper, dynamo.....did PF hit a nerve or something? Sheesh, relax some. You aren't the designated CFL pro around here so don't act like you are.

LET THE MARCH BEGIN!

July 10, 2009

HAMILTON TIGER-CATS 32
B.C. LIONS 28

After watching the Bombers thump the Stamps live and in person I returned home to see the Tiger-Cats begin anew their quest for yet another Grey Cup. Canada's Greatest Team Ever showed the world that they could walk into British California and whip the Lions in their own building, even with an injury-riddled line-up.
