Moose Mission
Our mission is to add to the quality of life of the City of Winnipeg and the Province of Manitoba by providing the highest quality of professional hockey entertainment; by creating positive memorable experiences for all of our stakeholders; and by generously contributing to charities, amateur sport, and non-profit organizations throughout the province.
Moose Vision
Our vision is to become an integral part of the cultural and economic make - up of the province in the minds of all Manitobans; to be recognized by fans, players, and the professional hockey community as the premier member organization of the American Hockey League by providing a professional, positive environment which consistently produces championship caliber hockey; and to perpetuate and advance throughout North America and beyond, the recognition of our province as a pre-eminent hockey culture.
Moose Values
By embracing the following values we can fulfill both our mission and vision. We acknowledge that all are interdependent and of equal importance and that we must strive to strike a balance between them, always keeping in mind that we are, first and foremost, a professional hockey organization representing the highest level of hockey played in our province.
Trust & Respect
The foundational values. By continuously developing trust for each other and for all of our stakeholders and by demonstrating respect for the uniqueness of every individual, we can build a confident, creative, disciplined team possessing a high degree of initiative.
Integrity, Fairness, and Commitment To Excel
We shall act with fairness and integrity in everything we do. In addition, we do not accept halfhearted efforts, but rather insist upon personal responsibility, accountability, and a commitment to excel from each of our team members.
Team Work
There is nothing we can do as individuals that we cannot do better as a team. Accordingly, we are dedicated to a singleness of purpose and insist upon open communication and mutual support for one another in everything we do. We further acknowledge the mutual importance of both our on and off ice teams, and that the extent to which we work together and appreciate our respective contributions will ultimately determine our level of success.
Continuous Improvement
We will never accept the status quo and firmly believe that sustained success will result from our collective ability to continually strive to improve each and every aspect of what we do and who we are.
Stability and Contribution
We acknowledge we are a business enterprise, dependent upon sound financial planning and long term return on investment. We further acknowledge our responsibility to the community and are steadfastly committed to the viability of professional hockey in Manitoba.
