Don't Panic!

This weekend saw our Manitoba Moose lose in a fantastic game 1 of the Calder Cup Championships. People in the arena were going crazy the whole game and thank you to the people that came up and talked to me about NOT WEARING BLACK! Thank you. I will stress not to wear black as it makes it very difficult to see the puck not only for goalies and players if it should get raised above the boards but it is also a safety thing for YOU the fan! If a puck comes over the side of the glass into the seats you will lose sight of it as well looking across the rink and could suffer a pretty bad injury. Again, good job to the fans who didn’t wear black. Wear anything you want just wear something to support our team! Let’s not panic either over a loss. Three questionable goals. It happens! Let us not forget that the Hershey Bears are a VERY experienced team when it comes to the Calder Cup and the Moose just got there this year. Remember Pittsburgh and Detroit last year? Experience plays a big role in these types of situations. Game two goes Tuesday and no matter what happens think positive! We still have hockey here in Winnipeg in JUNE!!! GO MOOSE!
