2008 Ranger Insurance Charity Golf Classic
in support of The Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation
The annual Ranger Insurance Charity Golf Classic held at Glendale Golf & Country Club on Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 raised over $40,000 for The Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation. Ranger Insurance Brokers has hosted the Charity Golf Classic in support of the Yearling Foundation for the last 12 years, and has raised over $270,000 in that time!
Moose players Mike Keane, Shaun Heshka, Jannick Hansen and Moose Alumni, Jimmy Roy were on hand at the Manitoba Moose Putting Contest and handed out complimentary Moose-decaled SIGG water bottles to every participant. While the MTS Centre hole, had concession provider Centerplate handing out appetizers to golfers, while they tried to win Neil Diamond concert tickets by being closest to the pin.
“The Yearling Foundation is very proud of our partnership with Ranger Insurance Brokers and we appreciate all their efforts in putting on such a top notch event,” said Executive Director of the Yearling Foundation, Kelly McArthur.
“A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the participants, volunteers, organizing committee, and corporate sponsors, especially the Platinum sponsors, Royal & Sun Alliance and the Manitoba Moose and MTS Centre,” said McArthur.
